The Water Dragon
By Fuller Schwab
The water dragon is this giant blue salamander
with a retractable fin on its back and head. It also has a fin looking thing on
its tail. It’s speckled with black spots and sometimes the spots cluster on
their back. Their feet are also webbed.
The males have whiskers and the females have smaller feet.
It live in caves on the other sides of waterfalls
and swims and hunts at the pool of water the waterfall leads too. They eat
fresh water trout and cat fish. The caves are mostly under water and they swim
to the air pockets inside of the cave and there they lay their eggs.
They like to climb up the waterfalls and jump into
the water below. They jump out of the water like dolphins. They are also
amazing swimmers and can swim extremely fast. At night during a full moon their
skin glows like the moonlight through the water.
